Services Offered at Newbury Park in Thousand Oaks
Cataracts
As your eyes age, they develop cataracts, a common condition that clouds the eye’s lens. The only way to solve this is by removing the cataracts, and our doctors are experts at cataract evaluation and safely removing them during cataract surgery. This can restore your vision, or even enhance it with advanced replacement lenses.
Dry Eye
If you regularly have red, itchy, or watery eyes, you could be suffering from a common but uncomfortable condition known as dry eye disease. Dry eye is typically caused by your eyes either producing low-quality tears or not enough tears, but our team is skilled in using the latest equipment to address the underlying cause of your condition and meaningfully relieve your symptoms.
Glaucoma
Commonly known as “the silent thief of sight,” glaucoma is the term for a group of eye conditions that, if left to develop untreated, is the leading cause of blindness for people over the age of 60. Glaucoma occurs when you have unusually high intraocular pressure, which can then damage the optic nerve, but our team is capable of identifying signs of the condition before your vision is threatened.
